Making Decisions
Walking On Water ChristianityMatthew 14: 22 ' 33 Jesus sent His disciples across the sea to the other side while he went to pray. A huge storm came up, the wind was .....
Think about what is going on in your life right now. Are there
things that you really arent thrilled about? Or, are there
things that you are really excited about? What are the choices
that you made that led up to your current circumstances?
There is a cause and effect to everything. You think a thought,
and then you decide whether or not to act upon it. If you act
upon it, there will be a result. If you do not act upon it,
there will be a result.
Life By DesignLife By Design by Sue Miley Where are you on the life satisfaction scale' Are you ..... We are always making decisions in some fashion and a lot of
decisions are relatively minor. Like what to have for dinner
tonight. But, if we want to live our dreams, we will have to get
out of the boat and take some real chances.
Some people are born decision makers and others arent. This is
a plus and a minus for both parties. If you are a decision
maker, you tend to be quite productive, but also you could get
in over your head, especially if you are really risky. If you
are not a decision maker, you play it safe. This can keep you
out of trouble, but also you are less likely to achieve your
goals.
God, in His infinite wisdom, will allow us to make our own
choices. Those choices then, will decide what direction our
lives take. Where we wind up will always be a result of our
choices.
Many times, we are forced to make choices without knowing the
exact outcome. Should you remain undecisive in those cases? No
choice is a choice and there will be a result.
Dont be afraid of making decisions. Be in control of your life!
Think positive thoughts, come up with ideas, seek advice from
Godly people who are on the same page, spend time with God and
seek His council, and then act!
